Climate Change
This theme focuses on learning how our individual and collective lifestyles can influence climate change. We constantly explore ways in which we can become climate-resilient.
The content for this theme falls under the following headings:

Becoming a climate change smart school: This involves encouraging sustainable plants, eco-friendly buildings and encouraging low-carbon-footprint shopping.
-
Climate resilience: Our pupils investigate what climate changes we can expect and how we can plan for extreme weather.
-
Low water-use gardening: We minimise water-use and needs wherever possible, foster water-wise plants and grow potentially endangered plants.
-
Energy-smart applications: We prioritise the application of the the 3 R's, using less energy and more renewable energy through solar panels, LED lighting, etc.
-
Enable food security: We grow and use plants that are adapted to the local environment.
